Tyee Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Fished Friday east of the shipping channel in 29 to 33 foot of water. We pulled a three man limit in short order and hauled in close to fifty eyes for the day. Probably the best day I've seen. Many times we had triples and all too often couldn't keep a line in the water. Running four inline boards with 2oz bb with harnesses and two down rods with 3oz bb. Any more lines would have been too stressful. Saturday headed out with a goal of ten fish plus three for a gentleman at the campground. Fishing was slower as the water was real calm. On our last pass the wind picked up and the bigger fish started to bite. Finished out with our goal working close to the same area but concentrated on a contour of 30 to 31 foot of water. Made the bumpy eleven mile trip back then waited close to an hour in the river for all the Doc Harpham tourney boats. Sun burns and fun was had by all of my crew!
