Priority1 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Two different crews 2 days same results. 4 person limits. We fished 29-35 FOW pulling bouncers and meat. Saturday we pulled lines @ 9:40 AM. All colors were good but dirty copper, and some UVs were doing most of the damage. Most of our fish were scraped off the bottom. It was a pleasure fishing with Jack W, Don M, Mike T, Roger L, Skip S, and Karl M. Several multiples. Friday we caught over 30 keepers and about 10 shorts. Saturday we caught 23 keepers and 3 shorts. 1.5 MPH with a change up pitch every now and then. When everyone does there thing well it is a pleasure to fish. Gotta Luv that Bay.
Indybleck Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Way to go Frank you even went out on a weekend. I know Jason is up there fishing this weekend.

We talked a bit on the radio. There are a lot of fish in the system with all year classes well represented. Our future looks bright.

Priority1 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 We did good out in 8-9 ft. Friday were you strait out, east of river Friday we fished just off Pt. A. and then went S. Sat we started S. and finished our limit on a N. troll. I launch Au Gres because it's my closest port. The inner bay is shinning very bright right now. GJ on the shallow water eyes. I love to fish the bars at times. The way the fish are stacked up in the bay it's just best to fish your closest port. TG for what we have available on the Saginaw Bay.
Priority1 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Tim, I see this is your first post. A warm to you. I'm looking forward to your first report. Maybe we can Fish together sometime.
JWheeler Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Yeah, you were in that spot, along with a few others that I know. You sure had them going. We thought we were onto something, then the action subsides for us. We had a spread of harnesses, 2 bb over the side, one bouncer off a board, then a mix of inlines spreading the water column. We were a little shy of our 4 man limit. However, we did have some nice fish in the box. Black blade with pink dots down n out took some action. Then a silver confusion blade 50 back with a 2 oz inline seemed to be a better set up for us too. Decided after looking at the radar on sunday morning to go have breakfast.....didn't fish, looks like the rain missed us, I was a little reluctant with the YELLOWS and REDS in the radar a little further to the west. Thought, I'd rather regret not fishing than regret going fishing. Oh well. I'll be up for Saturday for sure, and if Sunday's weather looks good I'm going to take my wife and children out for some fun! Nice seeing you out there P1!
Priority1 Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 It was good seeing you too J-Dog. I'll always remember the fun evening runs on the Husky-Jerk. I set up initially and let everyone else catch most of the fish. I'd go back when there were too many lines out of the water. It seemed when we hit one it would turn into a double or a triple. We ran our usual 3 oz off the down rods and 2 oz off the boards all BB.

Pulled a couple up there, but the bugs were worse up in that area than where I saw you at....Upgraded my ignition to an electronic ignition here in the last few weeks. Buddy of mine helped me with the install and also with the "timing". The Husky Jerk never ran so good as it does now. My fuel efficiency improved significantly and the delivery of power is smooth all the way through.
