Yoda Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 We hope to be on the water by next weekend, Don't know if the docks are in yet, I'll try to find that out Monday..
heartsticker Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Good deal John, can't wait till Friday. Should be in the water about noon.
heartsticker Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Set lines 4:30 pm Friday night went 5 for 7 - 3 Lakers, a King, and an Atlantic. In by 7:30 to clean fish and relax...Saturday morning was a little slow getting the crew up but after a moral omlet and a few cups of coffee we hit the water at 11:00 hitting fish almost immediately. We went 8 for 11 off the water by 5:30 4 Lakers and 4 Atlantic's loosing 3 nice silver fish.Sunday was a bust, we fished 4 hours without a strike. Went to caribou lake and got 2 pike and 4 walleye on the evening troll.Monday morning 6 am start we had a small crew but managed to go 7 for 11 3 Atlantic's and 4 Lakers. Lost a few realy nice screemers......Not a bad shakedown trip for the Renagade.

eyecracker Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 Thanks for the report, I think we'll be giving it a go Friday morning. Did you stay in a specific depth?
Yoda Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Water temps the key this time of year, and it only takes a 1 or 2 Deg. difference to hold fish
heartsticker Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 2,3,5,10 color lead all took fish.riggers at 18 and 33 with sliders took fish. The last day I ran one dipsy with a UV clear John King Flasher and a Big Weenie frosticle fly. 120 out on 2.5 was hot!
