replacing console panel

before i drill holes 4 switches wondering how much room does the sportpilot wheel assembly need so i can leave enough room 4 when i get around to buying 1 hopefully next month.

not sure if this is what your looking for but this is the print I made up for the P70R controller. the Wheel pilot itself doesn't take up much room, a 6" rectangle centered on the steering shaft would give you plenty of clearance. If you need a print of the drive let me know and I should be able to whip one up, Raymarine has cad files of a lot of there products online.

thanks drive unit is what i was concerned with, i can always adjust control head placement but steering shaft is where it goes lol. 6" gives me what i need to know though, again thanks much.
