Trophy Specialist Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 This is just a heads up. All of my status updates on my Trophy Specialists Fishing Charters Facebook page are now being posted on here as as threads in the Saginaw Bay Fishing Reports section. This is a cool site feature here, but it will result in a lot of non-fishing-report threads. It will also result in some Lake Erie and even some salmon stuff being posted here too. I also noticed that I do not get any email notifications when people post on these threads, so if you post questions, I am not ignoring them, but just don't know about them. It might be a good idea to PM or email me a question instead of asking it in a thread where I won't know about it.
SeaCatMich Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Mike, if you go to your User Control panel under your User Profile, you can then choose Edit Options and choose to get notified when a thread you have created has another post made to it. The option is called Default Thread Subscription Mode and can be set to Immediate, Daily, or Weekly notifications.

The automatic posts though that are generated here from my Facebook updates are not sending me email notifications though when people comment on them.
BlueEye Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Mike / Ryan - That is an issue with the auto-FB posts. The user doesn't get an email when someone replies (like they normally would). That is something we are looking into to try and fix but just wanted to let you know that we are aware of that issue. Thanks again guys!Chad
