SEADUCKTION Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Well I was finally able to finish the deal on the 1988 290 XF that I found last fall. It has been a long wait, but after the initial survey, and a very long winter, I was able to sea trial, and complete the deal. Here are a few pics from last week, I will add more as the new toys are added!!! She has 2007 5.7l crusaders with 200 hours on them, 4 blade wheels, all systems have been replaced, going to up date electronics over the next 2 years. She will be spending the next part of her life in fresh water on Lake Ontario trolling for King Salmon and trout. Stay tuned for more updates!! At the launch in New Bedford, MA [img width=1000 height=750]http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae281/NYGUIDESERVICE/Mobile%20Uploads/1396478794.jpg Warming her up after a long sleep!! Here is some updated pics, was able to spend the day on her yesterday getting some stuff done. Bottom painted, hull waxed, one of the Lowrance units removed, tracks installed for the rod holders on the transom and the sides, and the rigger bases mounted. SEADUCKTION Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 Here is the latest of the pics I have. I was at the marina Wednesday and took these, since then the steering is done, and we are almost splash ready!! OK we are almost there!!! Transom reinforced, new electrical bus bar installed for transom electrics, Furuno 587 installed. Got the text yesterday that the steering is done, like I wanted it!!! Hoping they can get her buttoned up and ready to float, maybe tomorrow!!! Here are some more pics, of the work... Transom before reinforcement: [img width=1000 height=750]http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae281/NYGUIDESERVICE/Mobile%20Uploads/photo1-1.jpg [img width=1000 height=750]http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae281/NYGUIDESERVICE/Mobile%20Uploads/photo2-1.jpg After reinforcement and the additions of the hyd pump for jack plate, and also the new home for the trim tab pump: Here is the yammy T25 all bolted up, pre steering install: Furuno 587 in its new home, paired with an Airmar B60 thru hull ducer. Controll king is installed on the motor, they are running the power cord, the Fish Hawk x4d is being installed, and the steering is all set now, so the kicker turns with the rudders all the time, much better control!!!!! More pics to come when she is floating and fully rigged!! Capt Rich
