ZachEno
Where were you able to launch there Nick?
NickEverse
We were able to put in at the Dnr launch. You'll need 4 wheel, the launch was slick and there's still a little mound of snow at the entrance.
NickEverse
Forgot to add that orange river rocker took a steelie.
ZachEno
Thanks for the reply Nick. How much ice was out there and were you fishing by the bubbler?
NickEverse
Just some skim ice by the launch. There is still ice at the end of the channel but there's plenty enough room to turn around. To clarify, we were fishing in the channel by the warm water outflows.

Fishrmac
What size boat are you launching. I'm wary of a slippery ramp with my 17' sylvan because its pretty heavy but I'm totally willing to get out there next week in the cold and get started....especially since those 50's are showing up for a couple of days. Far Beyond Driven
The area in question is the size of a foot ball field. You may want to plan your trip for an off time or bad weather. I may go and just watch the show Saturday morning when ten boats try to troll boards in there.

Killin' It
Fishing is not the best. The water is now dirty after the rain. Heavy boat traffic ruined the fishing
DIRTY DOG
I also heard that the fishing was very tough with no fish taken today.

Killin' It
The large amount of boats has really hurt fishing.
