Killin' It
Does anyone have a practical use for them?In the spring when I fish coho, I always run body baits. Every once and a while the coho will show up offshore in the summer, and I generally will throw jointed raps and small stingers or mimi streaks out for them because the coho dodger thing is a complete mystery to me. (Never have caught a fish on them)I was thinking of setting up a 2 color with a small SD and fly or small spoon on it for the fish near the surface..any feedback? fishsniffer
I took a rapture teaser and used 1 of the flies with a bead between the fly and hook with a baby orange spinny or a 6 inch dodger..one of my consistent setups more coho than anything but had a 15 lb king also
Killin' It
Don, I was thinking of setting one of those up on a short core. did you only run it when you knew coho were around, or did you just plug and play with it... and let it ride for the day. killerbe20
on this side we mainly fish peanut flys for cohos instead of body baits and small spoons. Majority of guys use 00 Dodgers or action flashers but the 6'' spin doctors and a peanut fly can be very deadly.
