News Posted January 18, 2014 Share Posted January 18, 2014 A new $600,000 study funded by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative will bring in scientists from four different Ohio universities and a private firm in Michigan to sample sediment at the bottom of Lake Erie to track various forms of phosphorus and nitrogen in the Western Basin of the lake believed to feed harmful algal blooms.
