Blood Run 20lb Tournament Mono. Designed specifically for what we do and I don't feel any if the big name companies can compare. I have had kings on wire divers get into my riggers and the Blood Run mono comes out without even a nick. Stuff is tough as nails

20# Cortlandt Flea Flicker. Twist can be a bit of a problem at times but not as much as the fleas. Can't say it doesn't get nicked like the Blood Run but I have had a problem with breakoffs either. Though I may try the Blood Run anti-flea when I respool (thought I saw that product on their website, but not too sure, might be someone else)

12 and 20# test Ande Tournament is my preferred choice but has been difficult to find at reasonable prices recently. Tried the Blood Run downrigger 20# last year and it worked well but didn't get out enough to really thoroughly.

Blood Run does have an anti flea line call Sea Flee. It is 30# test. http://bloodruntackle.gostorego.com/salmon-fishing-line-downrigger-leader-wire-copper-trolling/sea-flee-fishing-line-mono-spiny-water-flea-300-yards.html

I start the season with 6 reels filled with 20# Ande, and when the sea fleas become an issue I have 6 spooled with Courtland Flea Flicker, as noted it does twist a little but sure beats trying to get the fleas off of regular mono.

20lb. P-Line CXX for me. In the spring, 15lb. P-Line. I run clear color. I did try the Blood Run 20lb. rigger line this past year and was not impressed. After snapping off 2 flasher/fly combos and losing a couple of 15lb. spring kangs, I gave up on it.

thats too bad and sorry to hear you had a bad experience. That is definitely not the norm from what I have seen with the clear and purple. Myself and other charters I know have really abused the Blood Run mono with great results.

Ok so what's good for getting the sea fleas off? I'm going to get some soon!!

Check out Blood Run See Flee. We have had great results on Lake Ontario with it. It has a slick coating to deter fleas from collecting on the line. It also has a round shape, so it wont twist up like other flea lines.

Early for walleye and browns, 12 lb.

Mid May I get heavier, running 20 on my spoon rods and 30 on my attractor rods.

Bang for the buck I have found that Suffix Superior is worth at least double its sticker price. I have never broken it.
