joelsanders Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Where can you dispose of 20 gallons of old gas responsibly?
ekbelt Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Just put 5 gallons in your truck at a time, it'll burn fine!
SeaCatMich Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Check with your local fire department. Here in DeWitt the local Pennzoil quick change will take it and burns it in a furnace they have. I found out by asking at the township office.
luremaker Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I agree with Erik you can mix it in with your fuel that you us in your auto or anything that you us gas in it will burn just fine.
Gnarf Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 how old?1 year? 10?If its not varnish id mix it with some seafoam and run it a bit at a time in your car. As long as your changing your fuel filter when needed youll be fine
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 You read my mind Joe, how old indeed? Makes all the dif. too! Seafoam helps remove water/condensation from gas to burn better. Varnish type gas should be disposed of properly/or burned at the campfire with green/wet wood as an accelerator like these rainy days if need be.
luremaker Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 gas is gas not sure if i would use it in a fire
