News Posted September 16, 2013 Share Posted September 16, 2013 The U.S. House of Representatives have called for a nearly 80 percent cut in funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. These initiatives help cities modernize their sewer systems to prevent sewage runoff into Great Lakes tributaries, as well as work to clean up the lakes and prevent the spread of invasive species.More...
