WMFL Holland 9/7 a.m.

I'll put it bluntly, if you are thinking about fishing out of Holland, you might want to wait a little bit till the weather has stabilized somewhat. Ended up 2 for 3 with a 1lb king and and a sub legal laker. Our other fish was decent but never saw it, somehow broke off when it go into our fullcore. Fished 50 to 95 fow and the channel. The only place we marked fish was 70 FOW which is where all 3 fish came. 250 copper with mother of pearl Ace Hi got stollen, Mag Blue Dolphin 35 down on the rigger took the laker, and the king came on the wire 70 back with a Mag Moldy Muffin. Motion Show had one fish they got in 165 FOW and there were some walley fisherman that had a nasty looking king they caught in the channel. Radio was dead for the most part.

I am new to the site and also fish out of Holland. Bought my boat 9 days ago and have been fishing quite a bit. Went 2 for 2 on Friday, 4 for 4 on Saturday and 1 for 2 last night. Got 5 kings, all 2-5 lbs, 1 laker 16 lbs, and 1 coho at 21 lbs. All fish but 1 king came off downriggers, one on 300 copper, monkey puke, robbins egg, pearl, and can not remember the other 2 lures that hit. Hoping to go out end of the week and get it another try.

21 pound coho? You have a pic of that? Sure it wasn't a king? Master angler coho is 12 lbs I believe!

It must have been a king then, It was brown in color so it may have come out of the channel, I am still new at this and learning a lot so bear with me. Hoping to get out Thursday or Friday again so hopefully will have some good news to share.
