Special K Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Set lines around 5:15 am out in front of the pier heads marked a lot of fish but no takers. Ran out to the bathhouse at 7am trolling north past the point in 60-160ft and back. Very slow went 2-4 with a 15lb king and a shaker. Not much radio chatter and didn't see another net dip all day. Water was really messed up I would have 44 degree water on the probe 70 down then it would pop up to 52 degrees temps were all over the map. What worked 400cu with a wonderbread ace hi 15lb king8 color with a stinger uv blue dolphin shakerWire diver on 2 back 175 with a BW rubber poofster combo took a massive rip and broke off when the line got twisted up on the reel after the first run:mad:300 cu with a mongoose j-plug swing and a miss. Nothing on meat and spinnys
