Dr Hook Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Fishing was slow today after a great Saturday. Set up in the chop south of sliders in 100 fow on a north troll. Drifted in to 85 fow, so turned south and headed southwest when a 25# king hit UV spindoctor with Big Weenie Last Brunch fly on braid dipsey 90 back set to 3. Had great marks and bait when setting up but by the time we got that one in everything was gone. Trolled back to point where we set up without any marks so began heading out. Got to 160 fow without any takers. Would have liked to get out to 200 but wind and waves weren't cooperating so zig-zagged north mainly between 100 -125. No hits until pulling lines when found a small laker on the 300 copper, which probably in part explains the slow day.Finished 2 for 2.
