coralee Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Took a friend of my dads out today and ended with a 2 man limit today going 10 for 11 with a nice mix of Kings, coho, steelhead and a Laker to finish the day. Best water started past 160 and was best for us around 200. Mostly 40-60 down with one from 125. No special baits as it was all over with 3 on spoons, 3 on flies, 3 on meat and one on a plug. One never saw the fridge:
coralee Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 marked bait and what seemed like a few fish in 70' so started there but nothing happened so headed west and didn't mark anything from 90-150. Then things picked up.
Dr Hook Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Nice job! I haven't had many marks in that 100-150 range either all summer but they're still there. Were you north, south or straight out?
Fishrmac Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Friday and Saturday in the 120's and 130's was the only place I could get fish to bite.
Just Hook'n Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 That just isn't fair - my mouth is watering now....nice job.
coralee Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 about out from the sliders to maybe a mile or 2 south of them.
