ballsdeep Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Here is a summary of our trips on 8/3 PM & 8/4 AMAll in all had a couple of nice trips. Had some good action on both trips. Picked up a 25 lber on SAT night that was right at dark, ended making a mess out of my full core that took me half of sun AM trip to get fixed. Once I was able to get the 10 back in the water, it fired with a 10 pound laker. First one of the season! However all in all it was a good weekend!5 for 7 on SAT evening & 6-8 on sun morningHere is the bait list:PM 8/3/2013HITS RIGS BAIT0-0 3 COLOR misc spoons0-0 4 COLOR misc spoons1-1 6 COLOR happee meal <----7 # rainbow1-1 7 COLOR burnt toast <---- 9# king0-1 10 COLOR v-neck0-0 PORT DIPSY flasher fly1-2 STAR DIPSY flasher fly <----6# king1-1 SWR RIGGER hot lips <---- 8# king1-1 MONO RIGGER bad toad <---- 25 # king5-7 TOTAL-------------------------------------------AM 8/4/2013HITS RIGS BAIT0-0 3 COLOR misc spoons0-0 4 COLOR misc spoons1-1 6 COLOR grean jean <---- 9# king0-0 7 COLOR misc spoons1-1 10 COLOR blue/purp dream weaver <----this was a laker about 10 pounds..first one of the season0-1 PORT DIPSY flasher fly1-2 STAR DIPSY flasher fly <---- 16# king1-1 SWR RIGGER hot lips <---- 12# king2-2 MONO RIGGER bad toad <---- 20# & 21# King6-8 TOTAL
KJ pluggin Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Nice job Justin, thanks for the report. Those big kings sure can make a mess of things on a hurry. The last big king we boated came in tied to a seven color and a wire diver!
