33# King @ Frankfort

I talked to Amanda at Big Bob's in Frankfort yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 8/1) and she said that they weighed a 33#+ King earlier in the day.

Wow. August is going to be a fun month of fishing. Time to make sure reels are full and the line is in good shape.

is there a pic of that tuna anywhere? Seems like more reports of 20# + kings in July than other years...HANG ON !

There has defiantly been tons of big fish out there this year, during the nine day KD tournament there were 404 kings over 20# brought to the scales. The biggest being 32.41!

My neighbor at the marina had the 30.75 big king at the Manistee tournament this past weekend , I fished tuesday morning and had 2 23 pound kings and 1 25 pound king out of the 8 fish we took. If the water ever sets up may need a bigger cooler with the size of the fish this year.
