5 for 8 this morning with 2 of us in the small boat. Lake was nice. I was determined to go past 200 today so even though we picked up a couple in 130-160 we kept going. Nothing from 175-200 but there was a nice area of fish from 200-220. After that the screen went sterile till we turned back about 235. Picked up a couple out there and lost a big king (broke him off just behind the boat :() Things went dead after we lost the king who took my flounder (3rd hit on it) and my slider (1 hit on it). Fished out there for an hour and a half or so and decided to head in. Pulling lines we had a Coho on one, another fish on one (lost it) and a bag on a third pole so were pulling stuff for who knows how long on our 3 best rigs. Oh well. A little damp but overall nice day. Fish were on the south side of a scum line running to the ne about out from the sliders. Carmel was the color other than the flounder pounder.

Very nice work...it a long way out of Holland to get out there...even longer to get to 300. I tried it once - stopped in 250 to set lines figuring we would get to 300 in not too much time - a few hours later I think we managed 270.
