Slow report is better than no report right???

We started in the 50's and had marks no takers. Went to 70's and the fish just light up the screen more than I care to talk about. Tried every direction at all speeds and managed 1 king on a large silver/green paddle with a last brunch fly down 50. Couldn't believe we couldn't snag one with how many were showing on the graph. At the launch I talked to 2 boats that did better out in 150-160's.

got my 4 year old on his first fish so now each kid had their first. They are hooked....now if I can only find some steady catching action instead of just fishing.

All I can say is, those fish are biting. We had several friends that did very well last night. Take your coppers with fast action spoons and you'll have better luck.

BK, I don't have coppers so if we go out I'm setting the dipseys way back, I don't run copper but maybe I should someday, sht I'd like to just get on the water during the week when the waters calm....

WE coulnd't get any action on dipseys for some reason. Set them anywhere from 80-175 with different set ups and no takers. For some reason sometimes copper is the trick. Just like setting your spoons 8 feet off the ball or 30 feet off the ball on a rigger...just depends on their mood.
