MY2SONS Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Anybody have a unique idea, or method for holding planer boards when not in use? I'm trying to think of something creative that holds the boards securely, isn't too bulky, or cumbersome, yet is easily accessible.
Hotdog71 Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I picked up a couple of Beckman storage bags that I use for the planner boards. I have the bags hanging in the head from 3M Command hooks. Here is a link of what they look like.http://www.walleyesinc.com/walleyeinc3/beckmanplaner.html
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 That's a pretty nice system Bob, and quite economical too. Beckman is known for quality nets, these look like nice quality too.
Line Dancin Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I have a cooler box that looks like a mini fridge mounted in my cabinet in the cabin. I dont use it for keeping stuff cold. I have a regualr cooel that i use as it gets stuff colder. I do use it to store my planer boards on the bottom shelf and my divers on the top shelf.
highpointdf Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I bought a bag at cabelas. It is green, has a divider in the middle, two boards go great on each side of the soft divider. It also has an additional area on it for other items. It works great, as it is soft it does a great job of protecting them.
fishsniffer Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Big papa sport fishing has some cool holders for them.
