Killin' It Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Guys... I think it is time for me to get a better boat. I have been watching Craigs list Grand rapids, and it is very hit or miss. Does anyone have any suggestions of websites, places to dial in my search.
danthebuilder Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I use this to search craigslisthttp://www.searchtempest.com/It enables you to search by a mile radius. So you can look at all boats listed within 150 miles or so without going to each individual craigslist page. There of course is boat trader... Which have just about everything...http://www.boattrader.com/browse/commercial-vessels/make/oil-tankerHave you narrowed down what you want?also this sitehttp://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1938/United-States-Navy-PT-8-2114061/Franklin/LA/United-States#.UfU02Y3bNio
plumkrazy Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 what size and how much , I am going to sell mine 23 tiara
1mainiac Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Most fishing boats are sold privately so tough to find a used one at a boat dealership. You need to make a list of what you want in a boat and let everyone know so we can help. For me it was this,Had to be trailer ableCuddy with a headWalkaround24 to 28ftlow hoursflat floor in cockpitstorage for fishing gearfull canvas or hard topIn the end I had it down to 4 boats and wife said no to all of them I remembered one in Muskegon I was on the fence about. So I went back and made a offer on it pending my wife liking it and she said yes.
SeaCatMich Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Post what you think you want Dave. I'm always looking at boats for a couple of friends who have a perpetual case of twofootitis. Your Internet fishing network is your best source to find what is out there.Length?Style (cuddy, walkaround, center console, dual console...)I/O, OB? Single/dual/kicker?Age?How far away?
