Just Hook'n
Well, we looked at the weekend forecast and didn't think it would be fishable so we decided to pull a school night trip.Left the dock at maybe 5:00 and since the water was cold inside we decided to start in about 50fow.Seemed like a great idea as we were on fish within 30 minutes...just no size, but it was still a great night on the water.Managed 8 total missing a few so 8 for 10 maybe. One laker, Nice 10lb 14oz steelhead and the rest kings, but biggest was probably 9 pounds and most of the rest were grillers.Ran 3 color, 100 and 200 coppers, riggers down 30 and 45 didn't take a sniff, dipsey with yellow 8" paddle and yellow fly caught the laker on a turn when it dipped to the bottom.Stayed between 50 and 65fow all night. All in all a great night on the lake before the storm that is due today.Tight lines and stay safe if you hit the water this weekend.
