bowbender Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Has anyone tried running the Yum Umbrella Rigs for Salmon? I used one on a dipsey a few weeks ago but didn't have any luck. It looked so good running through the water at 2.8 SOG I wanted to bite it myself though. I was running mostly spoons with a couple J Plugs. I'm just getting back into this after being gone since I was stationed up at Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda back in the 80's and 90's.
diztortion Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I saw a pic posted the other day of a salmon caught on one. I'm sure they do work.
fishy1 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Great idea but just a better way to lose 30-50 dollars of tackle quicker IMO
joelsanders Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I have plans to deploy a 2 bait version (spreader) using a mag spoon and a smaller spoon on my copper or leadcore rig,i will post if it is tangle mangle or if it runs proper and catch's fish, hope it works cause i often fish alone and more baits in the water with 3 rods could be beneficial.
