Flood light bite!!

Do you catch more fish with your flood lights on or off ? I just installed flood lights on my islander !!! They are mounted to to Great Lakes Planners rocket launcher plus!! Great product!!! Simple and quick to remove!!!

Interesting question - we run floods at dark because it's easier to see the poles in the riggers and dipseys go off - never thought about whether it attracts or detracts fish. In the ocean then run under water lights to attract bait fish - wonder if the floods have a silimar effect.....anyone know?

I tend to agree Mark, attracting at nite in the ocean is not the same as trolling here. However, fishing off a pier or dock might make a difference for the positive. In trolling, the fish aren't going to see that light cause they are usually too deep.

It has never made much differance in my catch,but I have had trouble getting some fish to the net after dark.
