Priority1 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Thank you Bob, Roger, Julian, and Brendon, for sharing your time with me on da Bay. We started where I left off Sunday and took a couple of quick fish and then it got disappointing. We then made a move to an old favorite spot and didn't like what the graph didn't show. Trust your electronics. We never even dreamed of these high tech tools as kids. Made another move and set up on inactive fish and picked up one mo. Made another move to an old fave and Eureka. We couldn't keep the fish off, with most of them going in the box. We put the youngsters to work after waking them up out of boredom. I think the kids had a good time even with three grumpy old men. An old saying goes, "Once a man twice a boy". So we had 5 boys onboard. Gotta love it. Now here is a surprise we ran BB and meat mostly at or near the bottom at 1.5 MPH. 10 Offshore boards with flag kits and two down rods. The down rods had 3oz BB and the boards 2oz. Colors didn't matter and at one time we had 5 fish on.
Chummer Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 You've given so many an opportunity to go fishing & enjoy what the bay has to offer. Your paying it forward will serve you well Frank. I hope to do the same someday. Another great job!
JWheeler Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Nice job Frank! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! KISS:thumb:
