John I have the boat home and have to get it rigged. I've got all the walleye gear off. If I do it will be very last minute. My equalizers are flipped on my trailer and I am trying to get it in Friday night to get them flipped back. If not it will have to go in to the trailer shop Saturday.

I know its still early but the latest forecast for saturday doesn't look good.

SATURDAY

NORTH WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WAVES BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FT

OCCASIONALLY TO 8 FT.

Tentative for now. Crew would be giving up overtime and if the lake is rough I've got an inland lake that's overdue for a swim and fish. And I sucked last weekend....

current NOAA forecast shows that it will be bumpy but no small craft

im waiting for the late forcast to be sure but as of right now im out.

4-6's with occasional 9's overnight but no small craft warning. I'm inclined to not fish in that, and I've got one of the heavier boats in the mix. Tomorrow is 2-4 w/ some 6's. Fun...

As of right now I am out as well. I'll keep an eye on the forecast the rest of the day to see if it will lay down. I can do 1-2 in my 16 footer, but 2-4 is a bit too rough for me.

I'll be doing the same guys. I will keep an eye on the weather buoy and forecast. any thing in that 3-4 range I'll be staying at the dock as well. I took the day off with the plan to fish today, stayed home instead. do have a nice breeze today - but it is still HOT.

Hey guys, thats the nearshore forecast.

KT EARLY BECOMING NORTHWEST 10 TO 15 KT. CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING...THEN SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND

most guys say "noaa is terrible this isnt anything like the forecast"

i hear it all the time on the radio. Thats because the offshore tells the real story.

Thats just my 2 cents.

Im goin to play it safe and stay home.
