coralee Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I can't find any numbers except what is in the pic and I can't tell which one it is and there is a different Pertronix ignition for each one. Anyone able to tell me which one it is? Mercruiser or Mallory?
fishsniffer Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 keep in mind that some older mercs used prestolite distributers..if it is i have a brand new pertronix ignition and flamethrower coil i was gonna put in my slick before i switched engines..never opened the box
prop nut Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 that looks to be a holley distributer usally you will find these on motors with holley carbs mercruiser bought these from holley for a few years in the 70sI have tune up kits in stock point condenser rotor and cap 45 bucks If I remember rite

These are the part numbers they told me to use:"Ben,You have a Mercruiser distributor; use Ignitor #MC-181 and coil #40111.Carl AlcocerTechnical SupportPerTronix Inc. 909-273-6007 www.pertronix.com"
