IRon
Sorry about late report but just got home from vacation week in Whitehall. Offshore winds and rain delayed getting out on big lake until 7/3 when wind changed to the South and layed down nicely. Unfortunately the warmer air on cold water caused thick fog to move in so only got a couple hours in on the 3rd. Went 1 for 1 with a coho at 50 down on a UV Dolphin in 80 feet of water. Went out thur's. afternoon for a few hours and went 2 for 3, both Chinooks. Lost first fish on old purple/black spoon on rigger 50 down when we were setting up in 80 feet. I was just starting to let out a 150 copper/planer board when the rigger went off and the fish crashed the copper and was gone. Second hit came on a half core with a homemade green/glow ladder back in 100 fow. About a 10#er. Next hit came on same purple black spoon in 100 fow on rigger 55 down. 13#er there. Marked very few fish but most were in the top 50 feet, best depth for us was 80 to 100.
