Stacked marks, what is it?

That's a lot what a Gill or Trap Net looks like just before all hell breaks loose on the back of the boat. Seems awful tall for that though.

Here is the response I received today.

"Kelly,

I would assume that what you're seeing are some type of bubbles coming up off of the bottom - perhaps a deep water spring that's bubbling or something thats decaying. I checked with the head engineer at Humminbird and he agreed with my assessment of what you're seeing.

Whats weird is some of the other marks are "stacked" a little as well(Not like the big stack mind you). Even that mark to the far left looks like its vibrating a touch.

Its hard for me to believe that air bubbles are picked up by sonar like that. You would think it would shoot or pass right thru air bubbles. This turning out like a how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop kinda question.
