LongLine Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Happy New Year Billy & to all. Let's hope the Lake temps don't go goofy again.
Billy V Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 My first mate Jay and I were just talking about what a shame it was at the end of last season to have the temps go thru the roof on us. We had that incredible mid-September steelhead weekend, and then it just turned over and all we had was 65 degree water from the top to as far down as I could reach. The real unfortunate part was that it stayed that way until I pulled the boat in mid-October. I'll be running 15# Sharks this year, so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit deeper if that happens again. I just couldn't get down as deep as the marks were (180-200ft or so) with my 12# weights.
SkeinMachine Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 A wire lb ball rig will easily achieved those depths Bill. Fishmas greetings & Crappie New Year members!!!
