rbradley Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Fairly sure I have a head gasket issue with my explorer, I'm somewhat thinking about changing them myself, but not sure I want to dive into that right now. Anyone have a local guy they really like? I could go a week or more without it so getting them done super quick isn't importantWould get them pressure checked first obviously Thanks ahead of time for any help
luremaker Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Rob Try m40 auto and ask for lane . Great guy and stands behind his work and very fair price
JuicyBaron Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Rogers truck and automotive. Good honest guy. Been going to him for years. Has a shop in borculo.
Far Beyond Driven Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Maplewood Auto on 26th. Ask for Steve Rocket and tell him Kevin Essenburg recommended him. If it tells you anything my daily driver is a 1995 Escort GT with 212k on it and I still race it; wife's Jeep has 193K and runs like a top.
Fishwhisperer Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Been to Maplewood. I have no complaints with the work done.
rbradley Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 I'm planning on getting it looked at next week, thanks for all of the input.
