WhiteHall salmon... Where are They

Went out to 200 FOW and marked nothing, but a few sitting on the bottom, nothing like last year at all. Is water too cold, fish not here yet, spoke to another on the radio he was doin the same nothing on the screen,what's the deal?

I have chased salmon out of Ludington ever year for 35 years, what amazes me is how people think the fishing is going to be the same every year.There are so many variables that effect how the fishing will be in a given year, water temp, wind direction ,forage base, the list goes on just part of the challenge of fishing such a large body of water.

Randy I'm thinking it is temp more then anything, it's still cold as hell down there. We have tried at dusk and morning time, that is still to come. For right now I'm just out hunting down the fish and joy riding .
