Holland Wed Pm, 1st trip in new boat

Finally got the new boat on the water Wed night and to our surprise the lake and weather was very calm. Had a few first trip issues like somehow forgetting my rigger poles (and the fish were deep :-(, but overall it was a good trip. the boat ran quite well for a 1973, electronics worked, autopilot worked but needs some tweaking and got the skunk out first trip.

Heres Benlubbs fighting our first fish and it was a dandy.

and we managed one more nice but not quite as big King at dusk ending with 2 for 4

White paddle/white fly and flounder pounder took fish.

I always find it neat how catching one big king will turn a slow day into a good day. Nice fish. Enjoy the new boat.
