mftormoh
In this electronic age, anyone have a recommendation for a good weather app? Looking for something that includes expected wave height, etc. I downloaded a NOAA app, which has everything except that.
fromtheisland
windguru is one I use all time in combination of the weather network and Canadian government marine forecast. unfortunately my favourite and the only one with wave heights is the government one and is only available through the web. I do still just use my phone browser to view and it gets the job done.
Porcupine
I use a whole slew of weather apps/links. I'm kind of a weather nerd of sorts, or maybe more weather conscious as I fish a 14' boat most of the season. I have on my phone(sorted in folders)...Weather bug eliteInstant RadarNOAA WeatherLink to local weather.com(don't like weather channels app)Marine weather by Bluefin(marine forecasts at a click, also shoreside and bouy weather data)Link to Muskegon GLERL page(home port, web cams and weather)Link to Coastwatch Muskegon/Grand Haven water surface temps pageLink to NOAA Coastwatch MODIS Imagery(just because sat. photos are cool lol)Link to NOAA Muskegon County Airport, current to past three days observationsLink to Holland BouyLink to Surface Currents pageMight be a couple more...
