5-25 WMFL report Undertow

[N II Deep]

I ended up fishing the WMFL with Ryan aboard his boat "Undertow"

His Son Ty went with us, first time in a few years for Ty.

What started as a very slow day ended very well for us.

first rip of the day 300 45# copper went, pulled for about 1 min, then nothing, copper broke about 25 feet into it. was one of my original uncoated copper setups, will be re spooled with Blood Run 60# super.

we ended the day 9-11

fished 115 to 145 fow. straight out of holland, south to the sliders. and just keep running a box pattern.

11' white paddle took fish. 350 back on dispy

300 copper went a few times with ss mag u of m frog

250 copper went twice with BLL frozen glow toad.

only had room for a 6-7 rod spread. it appeared this weekend that less rods out = More in the box when a it came to big fish

one fish was 21 #. had a group of the 14-18# fish and a couple small ones
