luremaker
Anyone own a sportjet 90 or 120?I have a chance to pick up a sea Ryder jet boat cheap but it dose need some work. Like carbs rebuilt(leaking badly) and starter rebuilt just to get it running again, I havn't worked on one of these before just wondering if it is a money pit or a ok boat for the kids to play on the lake withThanks Luremaker
willfishforfood
I'm in the north west and there is a lot of sportjets here and it seems that they are getting away from them. They use a lot more fuel than a standard outboard.
Leafybug
we had a sportjet 90 in a jetboat that we kept for a toy at the marina. It was a pain in the but when it didn't run right, and when it did run right it didn't make enough power and wouldn't run right for long... But anything with a motor is fun... good luck
