Bert's Boy Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Went out with my brother on his boat for our first trip. Started in 70' going west hit our first fish in 145 FOW 50 down, Laker on Moonshine Flounder Pounder, released. Turned around in about 170 and then picked up 2 small Coho in the 160 to 150 FOW range, both on 5 colors of lead, 1 on Carmel Dolphin and the other on Coyote Ugly. Nice night on the Lake, great first trip of the year.
Lef T Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 bigfish 101The launch at Port Sheldon is in great shape. All of the docks are in. The water level is up and there were no problems getting out to the lake. When we got there at about 4:30 pm, there weren't any trailers in the lot. That surprised me. When we left at around 8 there were only 4 other trailers.Oh, by the way, I'm Berts Boy's brother, and we were on my boat.Nice night on the water.
bigfish101 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Excellent! It was scary low about 2 months ago. We even though we would have to lower our docks, I haven't been out since we got all this rain. Going this weekend. Thanks again . See yah on the water
