Paulywood Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 At 10' you will need a permit. I know for sure in Michigan but not sure on other states. However, you won't need an escort or anything like that. I think you have to be over 12' for that. You won't be able to tow it on friday, saturday, sunday or any holidays but I think those are the only restrictions. If you are on the freeway I think that you can get the permit from the state but secondary roads need a permit from each individual county. I'm just going off of memory and second hand info so don't quote it as gospel. Try contacting the secretary of state or check the state website. You might find the info you need there.
