Reel Screwd Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Went for the shakedown trip this morning set lines in 50 fow and worked between 50 and 60 with 55 being best for us, first fish was a coho on a warrior lemon ice on a rigger down 45 ft than we started picking away at the lake trout. rigger with happy meal down 50 took 4, wire diver with peanut fly also took a couple and the rigger with lemon ice spoon too some, we ended up 8 for 13ish with 7 trout and 1 coho Went back out this evening for a short trip and worked the same water as i heard a few kings were being caught and we hooked up to some more lake trout and ended up 4 for 8. The boat trolled great and kids had a great time

Sea Eagle Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Great job on the lakers. I wonder where all of the silver fish are? I wonder if all of the dirty water is shutting down the coho and king fishing or its just the cold spring? The six million dollar question is will we have anything other than lake trout to catch this spring down here?
