Boss Hawg Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Here is the Chicago Tribune link for the latest gift given to the Lake Michigan water system. After you open the link you may have to scroll down to the video article labled "Sewages flows into Lake Michigan":mad: http://trib.in/15kcc2T
EdB Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 And the editors there were going nuts about some coal ash from the Badger. One big storm and they are putting in 20 times the amount of pollution the Badger does all year.
79Dyne Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I agree Ed, that is the problem the Badger is a little guy in the Big Picture. It like the EPA and DOW, DOW had violated it been over 20 years and not a little clean up but not the the levels set in Michigan. Money and lawyers can put off the EPA a long time.
Boss Hawg Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 not to mention the free range the carp are getting right now
fishy1 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 No excuse for either the badger or Chicago to use our lake as a dumping ground
Gnarf Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 It may not be the best idea but what other options are their with all the floods? On the plus side lots of food for plankton and algae to eat.And it wont affect the quality of the drinking water.
