Sixshooter Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Also don't forget about daylight savings time.
Steve Arend Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Here is direction to the "LODGE" (Steve's house) for those that have not been there before.Map Quest directions to the "LODGE"You could also take US31 South to Exit 18 (Tabor Rd.) turn east on tabor and at the first stop sign turn left and it's the first driveway on the left hand side.Steve
Steve Arend Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Rumor has it that no one is catching any fish out of St. Joe so no need to bring any gear because you’ll just be washing baits. See you all on Friday or Saturday and if the weather hold out we should be weighing a few fish. Now where are those spring kings? Steve

Steve Arend Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Is this the time everyone should be at the lodge by?Everyone should be at the "LODGE" around 2:00-2:30ish
GLF Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Everyone should be at the "LODGE" around 2:00-2:30ishI was wondering if everyone was suppose to meet there before the tourney. It was clarified to me in the chat room last night on how it works.I am bringing 8 copies of "Keating on Kings" to the tourney. These are the books I am selling on the site. The price is $24.95 per book. If anyone would like a copy of the book, hit me up at the weigh in.
Live2fishdjs Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I may do that GLF...I hear it's a good read. It would be nice to use our winnings:D
Adjusted3 Posted March 29, 2006 Author Posted March 29, 2006 Mike, you do not need to be at the lodge before. We do have an issue that needs addressed.Steve and I have been looking at the weather for this upcoming Sat. It's not going to be very pretty. 10-20 out of the north with showers in the am. 3-5 for the seas. We just realized our blow date is Easter weekend. We are considering 2 items. NO DECISION has been made as of yet. If we cannot hold this event on Sat, Sunday the 2nd is looking very good weather-wise. 7-9 mph out of the ESE and off shore seas at 1-2 and sunny. Are you and your crew availible to make the change over to Sunday if need be? Do you want to just change this thing to this Sunday or do you want to shoot for Sat and if it blows, go to the 15th? Please call anyone that is in this and get their opinions. Tomorrow eve, we will make the call based on everyones response. I know doing so we may pick up a boat or 2 and loose a boat or 2. If we change to the 15th, the same is going to happen. I am just trying to hedge our options knowing that Sunday will be a fishable day and this Sat is starting to go into the toilet. This is everyones league.......Please post up your opinions ASAP if you are in this event as to what you would like to see. Mark
GLF Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I am seeing the winds as being out of the South on Saturday. Its not my tournament, but can we hold off on rescheduling the tourney until Thursday evening?
Adjusted3 Posted March 29, 2006 Author Posted March 29, 2006 Yep,we are watching the weather all day today and will look at the am Thursday report.Mark
Steve Arend Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Well here's the forecast for Saturday. Mark and I are in the work of making the final call. Adjusted3 Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 As much as we hate to do this, we need to change to Sunday. Saturday is going to be unsafe. Looks like most of you can fish Sunday but after several calls today, times are an issue. Sunday is calling for east winds and 2-4 but with east winds the inshore will be calm. So, here is the final—It will be Sunday. We are making a few time changes with the switch to Day-light savings and to assist those that have a bit of a drive. We can start anytime after 5am and the stop time will be 11:30 am. Weigh in at the lodge at 12:30 to 1:00 pm, lunch will be served around 1:30. No hard feelings if anyone has to scoot right after the weigh-in. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please call my cell or 2-way Steve or myself.Mark & Steve
Steve Arend Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 We looked at the time change the wrong way.If no one has any problems with the times I would like to move it back to no earlier then 5:30am and pull lines at 12:30pm weigh-in at the "Logde" around 1:30-2:00 and like Jim said if it goes anything like this week has most may be back early.Steve Arend.
GLF Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 I will not be able to make this event or make it to the weigh in. If anyone wants a book, let me know and we will see what we can come up with to avoid shipping costs.
GLF Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Things have changed once again for me. I will not be able to fish, but I may be at weigh in for a very short time. So...if you are wanting the book, look me up at weigh in.
