Depth and temp sensor info

I picked up a unit at the swap meet that you attach or slide down your line that records temp every 5' down. I was told its the original style unit. It says Fish Finder on the unit, has a display and a side button for functions. Anyone have info on just how to operate this or a webpage showing its functions etc?

It is a GT 40 and if I remember there is a copy of the manual on this site

I had 2 of the units (both stopped working) and when working they where great. They operate just like the Fish Hawk TD.
