Reel Screwd Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 I removed all the stripes did a little gelcoat repair here and there and ran over the hull with presta cutting creme and this stuff worked great! as you can see the difference where i stopped to take the pic. the green is just some masking tape i threw on to keep the blue bottom paint out of my buffing pad http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/3/6/5/5/boat_1.jpg' alt='boat_1.jpg'>
Just Hook'n Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Shannon, that thing looks ready to fish...very nice boat.
Reel Screwd Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Thanks guys it has been a ton of work so far, cleaning the cabin alone took forever it was pretty dirty but it came out great! plus all the other little things that eat up time like oil changes, fuel filters, impellers and just going over everything to make sure it is working properly. I wanted to start fresh as its a new to me boat and i didnt have any background on it whats so ever. there is still a few things id like to do interior wise like some of the wood etc but some of it may have to wait untill fall or next spring i dont want to miss out on too much fishing for a little cosmetic repair
Reel Screwd Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 Well i forgot to get some pics before we launched it but here she is in the water, we didn't set any lines just went out for a little cruise and she seems to be running great so we put it in the slip and going to get some baits washed over the weekend http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/3/6/5/5/boat_012.jpg' alt='boat_012.jpg'>
