ekbelt
Based on the long range forecast for March it looks like we're not going to be seeing the nice weather we had like last year.... http://blogs.woodtv.com/2013/02/25/cool-first-half-of-march/ Let's hope the weatherman is wrong! Line Dancin
It would be nice to get out as early as last year but we still need more of these storms dumping snow and not lake effect on us to get the water up.
TAKIN IT EZ
I started here on the south end March 1st. last year. It's not happening this year! Maybe we will get lucky and the water levels will come up. I know alot of guys on the southend are having problems at the ramps. Lets hope for the best, higher water levels, better weather & Great Fishing !! Rudey
mriversinco
And, if I remember right Erik, you were the first one to find them out deep early in the spring.... Lets hope you can do it again.
Priority1
Just take it as it comes. Longer Winters will help with the Lake levels. Cabin fever is getting to me also. Fishon friends.
Gnarf
Actually precipitation has little effect on water levels in lake michigan/huron. at least not like what you would think.
hear fishy fishy
Yesterday I started working on getting the boat ready for this season, so it will be a while before its ready anyway.
Rascal Trophy Fishing
Joe, like you said, without some USCOE & IJC injection of resources to continue building the sills project on Lk. St. Claire/St. Lawrence, it's going to be a scary season to launch and get on and off a boat. Dredging isn't the only answer either. Going aground isn't an option for my boat, nor anyone elses.
