Hunting In The Snow

Took my young friend Rigel out home from college for the holidays. Put him in my best late season stand. Let him use my gun. He makes a great shot and punches his tag. Been fishing and hunting with Rigel since he was a kid. Great to watch him grow up. His first deer this year so he was thrilled. I was thrilled! Great hunt. Took this pic in the truck headlights.

Even though he is in collage, he is still a kid in my book. It's great to see him enjoying the great outdoors. thanks for sharing Ed.

to me there is nothing that compairs to hunting in the snow. you can see everything that moves. you can watch a bird fly through the woods at 100 yrds. its my favorite thing to do. if a deer moves within sight you will see it move.

Very cool to see other's that are focused into the outdoors as I am at a young age. He should first mate on a charter boat lol.
