coralee
There seems to be some decent prices on rod holders, kickers, electronics etc. Or do you think that new models will be showing up and better discounts in a few months? Any inside info floating around? Any special buys out there now?
killerbe20
hard to really say. almost have to look at each item individually. A general statement would be some of the sport shows have better deals than any other time of the year.
Priority1
Late Fall is a good time and also early Spring. The shows always have some good deals. If you wait until the action starts availability can be a problem and the prices are just a touch more.
Jake980
Do the new products typically get released more so in the Spring? If so, I'd wait, maybe you can get better deals as they're trying to push old product and get more shelf space for the new. The only downside is that it puts more pressure on trying to get the winter projects done in the Spring months before fishing begins again. That seems to be a yearly occurence for me... Sea Eagle
Hit the Grand Rapids fishing show in March. You can find some good prices on lures and such and sometimes a better selection. Where you can really save money is on big ticket items. There are usually manufacturers discounts available at the spring show that will not be available latter in the year.
