EdB Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Went trolling today, was a bit raw with cold rain at times but seas weren't bad. Paul (Cliftp) gave us a tip and put us on a nice school of fish but we couldn't get them going very good. Marked a ton of fish and some pods of bait. Hit 3 and put 2 nices ones in the boat both on deep husky jerks. We did not have many in our arsenal and couldn't find the colors Paul passed on. Worked a few rods with an assortment of thunderstick jr's, bombers and reef runners and never took a hit on them. The fish we got came on 30 ft leads with a perch and fire tiger husky jerks. We worked 15 to 17 ft of water. Thanks Paul.
EdB Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 That one sure was a hog. First time I've been trolling in December.
cliftp Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Sure is a gorgeous fishery for sure. The fish are amazing. Glad you found some Ed.Paul C.
