Backwater Guides In Sarasota Area?

Was hoping for some tips/recommendations for a backwater guide in the Sarasota area. Will be there over Christmas for eight days, and was hoping to get in a trip, either in a small boat or kayak. Any suggestions?

Jim Vanpelt may be able to help you fine a Kayak guide in that area. We fished with him around Pine Island.

Find a guide that uses Hobie Kayak's. They are %100 hands free, with foot pedals.

Tailing Redfish are very spooky, so take your time when approaching them.

Had a great trip with Steve Gibson from Shallow Pockets Fishing today. Caught plenty of Redfish and Trout, fished from fun kayaks on Sarasota Bay. Steve did a great job putting me on fish, and made sure I had a good time. Give hom a try if your in west Florida.
