coralee
4 for 4 on a beautiful day. 1 steelie in the river on the way out, 1 more in 50' and 2 nice Lakers released unharmed. I wish I would have seen it on the way out but around 50 the lake turned cloudy and you couldn't see a lure 2' away. Hit 1 laker in 50 on the way out and hit the other laker and steelie there on the way in just in the clean water. Got a feeling the fish can't see nothin out in the cloud and should have stayed in 50' but it was a great day.

westwind
This time of year the lake can be really cloudy. Here is a link that can give you an idea of where the clear water is. This image shows exactly where your cloudy water startedhttp://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/modis/modis.cgi/modis?region=m&page=1&template=subℑ=t1.12312.1627.LakeMichigan.143.250m.jpg

GLF
that is very cool. Is it turn over silt? what makes it cloudy?A storm like what came through last week will make it be cloudy. Run off from a hard rain will also enlarge the plume.
